How do you rid the Earth of seven billion humans? Rid the humans of their humanity.
Surviving the first four waves was nearly impossible. Now Cassie Sullivan finds herself in a new world, a world in which the fundamental trust that binds us together is gone. As the 5th Wave rolls across the landscape, Cassie, Ben, and Ringer are forced to confront the Others’ ultimate goal: the extermination of the human race.
Cassie and her friends haven’t seen the depths to which the Others will sink, nor have the Others seen the heights to which humanity will rise, in the ultimate battle between life and death, hope and despair, love and hate.
Why am I excited?
I was in love with the first book (The 5th wave) and it had one of the worst cliffhangers ever. I'm not a huge fan of thrillers or alien books but this one was such a fun ride and i recommend it to everyone.
What are you waiting for? If you made a post leave a link below! :)

ReplyDeleteI still need to read The 5th Wave, but YES! The title is so ominous! Thanks so much for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to pick up The 5th Wave in my next book haul. Or maybe I should wait till it's closer for this book to come out because of what you said about the cliffhanger?
ReplyDeleteI'm not so sure if the story really were for me, but I love this cover. I think I remember that I liked the first one okay, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stepping by and sharing. I really hope you enjoy since you're this excited. =)
I loved The 5th Wave, and I can't wait to read this one. Awesome pick! :) And thanks for stopping by my WoW earlier. :)
ReplyDeleteI've decided not to read the first book because I hadn't heard lots of nice things about it. But this sequel really looks interesting. Maybe I need to change my mind about it. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by earlier!
I can definitely say I'm intrigued :)
ReplyDeleteRight? That cliffhanger was evil. EVIL. I loved The 5th Wave though, even if I thought it was a little slow in the beginning, but I loved the fact you couldn't trust what you were reading, or the people. But yay, good bad aliens again! Not ones that are hot and just want to interact with us wonderful people. No, time to obliterate the people. Finally. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's not really my kind of book. Especially if it has a cliffhanger like that. I hope you enjoy it though. Thanks for coming by my WoW!
ReplyDeleteLaura @ Through Raspberry Colored Glasses
Sounds interesting. But I think I'd have to be in the right mood for it. Thanks for pointing it out.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great choice, not necessarily my choice of genre, but I have heard all good things about The Fifth Wave.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds good and hope that you get to read it soon
ReplyDeleteAaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! THREE MONTHS!
